Tēnā Koutou, welcome to our class blog. We are a Year 5 and 6 learning class at our Dobson school site near Greymouth, New Zealand. Whaea Grace is our teacher.
Hello, I am Rebekah from Parkview Parua school, I think its really cool that you decided to make poems about your mascot (and I like that you have a mascot). A lot of the poems don't make much sense though, maybe add more punctuation to some, and maybe check them for spelling. Nice job though! -Rebekah
Hi Ruma Rima, Andrea here from room nine writing at Parkview Parua School.
It is so cool that you have a school mascot, It is such an adorable teddy. Your poems are outstanding and I love how detailed they are athough they could use a bit more punctuation. It is so funny how Pat the Cat is a dog, Sometimes things just can't make sense if they need to rhyme! Maybe next time something you could work on could be to try and make everyone's poem sound a bit different because they all sound very similar in the vocabulary used. Although it is understandable because it can be difficult to find words that rhyme. Anyway, I love all your poems and they are very cool. Thanks, -Andrea
Kia Ora Ruma Rima. I like the way that the name rhymes. It brought me back when I started to read Cat in the Hat and the movie. How come it had to be off Cat in the Hat. Maybe next time you could put photos of the poem. Why did you not make a story about Pat the Cat all together. Brandon
