Tēnā Koutou, welcome to our class blog. We are a Year 5 and 6 learning class at our Dobson school site near Greymouth, New Zealand. Whaea Grace is our teacher.
Hello! I liked this post! It reminded me of when I went to bottle lake forest with my school. It was so fun. Some kids got to eat Huhu Grubs! That year my team (classes) were called the mighty Huhu's of Room 14, and 15. We built huts. Ours was leaned against a tree, then we put the sticks along like ribs. we filled it with dry grass. We lined the sticks and gaps with dry pine leaves that had fallen, and grass. We dug a small moat around for fun, and got a sheet of metal and wrappers to put along the side. It was so much fun! Maybe you could add a slide of pictures, or why you went there. Have a good day!
hello I'm Chloe from Parkview School,I really liked how you used a lot of describing words and had lots of good pictures but maybe next time re-read your writing back so you don't repeat your words, other than that I really liked this post.

Hello I'm Cybella from Parkview Parua, form the Kotuku Team. This reminded me when one year we went to the bottle lake to huts learn about if you get lost and even eat Huhu Grubs! I really like how you made a slide with lots of pictures to show what you did, also having parts that the students wrote, it added lots of information. To improve this even more you could have added one slide with all the huts made and with the students in them. Other than that I really like your post! -Cybella Be sure to check out my blog and comment by clicking my name at the top!
